What is World Ocean Day?
World Ocean Day is an annual global celebration of our ocean that takes place every June. World Ocean Day raises the profile of the ocean, connects people worldwide, and inspires continuing action year-round to protect and restore our shared ocean.
- Join Conservation Volunteer Australia (CVA) and the Taperoo Dunes Group for a rewarding morning celebrating World Ocean Day!
- On Monday 22 June 2026 at 9am get your hands dirty and help our native plants to thrive by removing invasive weeds.
- We’ll then enjoy a short stroll to the Coastal Native Food Plants Labyrinth, which showcases the diversity of local food plants, including many species that grow in the Taperoo Dunes.
- Louise from Learning with Labyrinths will facilitate a walk on the labyrinth path and guide a meditative and informative experience.
- Enjoy complimentary morning tea with fellow nature lovers!
